Shelby Yamamoto, PhD
Shelby Yamamoto is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health, University of Alberta. The Climate Health and Environment Epidemiology Research – CHEER lab focuses on health aspects related to climate change and air pollution. As an environmental epidemiologist, she is particularly interested in investigating air pollution and climate change exposure, developing and exploring ways to capture climate change and air pollution-related vulnerability, assessing mitigation and adaptive capacity, and promoting community resilience.
